A few years ago, everyone was obsessed with skinny jeans, they were the ultimate jean to have in your closet and they came in all different types of colours.
However, fashion is inevitably going back in time, as we see old fashion trends, come back into fashion with a modern twist to them. I think the most popular fashion trend right now is definitely the mom jean, everyone wants to jump on the bandwagon and get a pair, because they make your body look great and can easily be paired with a variety of tops and shoes and they really transform your outfit by giving it a vintage-esque vibe.
Khanyi has been rocking several different pairs of mom jeans and we love how she always styles them with white. White simply goes with everything and when paired with mom jeans the outfit looks very minimal, yet super cute. We looove mom jeans with plain white Air Force 1’s!
Ellie Joslin is probably one of my fave bloggers right now, she serves look after look and I love how she dresses, simple yet over the top. She paired her mom jeans with a black crop top and a long coat and a pair of Doc Marten jadon‘s - how simple yet, yet gorgeous?
Lisa Onuha, styled her dark wash denim mom jeans with a cute off the shoulder crop top that has ruffles on it, with a fanny pack across her chest and once again, the Doc Martin Jadon’s(these shoes are iconic and I love them) . Her look is very casual and she looks comfortable yet super fashionable. Dark wash mom jeans aren’t very popular, but how cute did Lisa make them look?

Zara has a rather large range of mom jeans currently, with all sorts of shades of blue and they fit so well, I recently bought a pair and I had to get the waist adjusted, but this is very normal for me. I love the material and the range and they retail for R579.00. Another place where you can get reconstructed, vintage mom Jeans is at Denim Palace on Instagram, I bought a pair a few months ago and again I had to get the waist adjusted, but what’s new.
